Yep, of course that would be the title of this post! We have been so busy preparing for our classes and running them that we’ve forgotten to keep this site updated. In short, we’ve got 70+ students spread out over 8 amazing classes right now… and though it’s chilly outside, students are warm and happy in their classrooms as they learn music, drama, and dance. Stop by and visit us sometime if you’ve been considering our classes! We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Message us on Facebook or email us to let us know you are coming, we’d love to meet you. We do still have openings in two more classes that start up later this semester – Intro to Film for ages 12-18 and Bring on the Tap: Tap Basics for all [school] ages!
Here’s a little slideshow of a few snapshots from the past week or so… a little sneak peek into what we do.
In other news: We would like to announce a fantastic opportunity! The Worcester Shakespeare Company, whose members have done various ‘master classes’ with us in the past, is conducting a fun, interactive Shakespeare Workshop on Sunday, January 25th from 1-4pm. Read more about it on our Master Class page! Although this event isn’t being produced by A Work in Progress, we are promoting it as they would like to work exclusively with homeschoolers, and possibly cast homeschoolers in the lead roles of Romeo and Juliet this summer! Worcester Shakespeare is a completely professional company with its members hailing from New York, California, and London, and their workshops are top notch. Very exciting and educational. Best of all: It’s Free! You can sign up on our Master Class page.
Hope to see you soon. ~Jen for the gang
