As the families of AWIP prepare to celebrate the holidays, we are also eagerly anticipating the start of classes in January. This is a quick post to highlight a few classes that still have openings. IF you are having trouble deciding, we will be holding an Open House on Thursday, January 3rd at noon where you can meet the teachers and register on site!
Media Arts Crash Course
In this class we will explore Digital Media Art through video, photography, and a little bit of graphic design. Students will gain a solid foundation in these fields by both gaining technical knowledge and learning creative technique. Classes will have a discussion and lecture time as well as the opportunity to do lots of hands on work. This class was extremely popular last semester so we added two options this semester! Click here for more info. For ages 10+
Classical Ballet for ages 7-11
Although our Creative Dance classes are pretty full, there’s still a few spots in our Classical Ballet classes. Students will learn alignment fundamentals and ballet basics. In a nurturing and fun environment, students will work on technique, physical awareness and discipline. This training will impact them for years to come! Click here for more info.
Recreational Yoga -ages 12+
Heather Brown is certified in Kripalu Yoga and her classes are always geared towards students of all levels. This class will be an excellent way to introduce students to the practice of yoga. Students will stretch and tone muscles, release chronic tension, de-stress and refresh. Yoga also helps to calm restless thought, cultivate concentration, support mental clarity and confidence. Moms are welcome to take the class as well! Click here for more info.
Stay tuned for three more classes to be highlighted in the next post. Register soon as class sizes will be kept small!
As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us or click on the social media icons here on the website to reach us through those methods!
